Get informed on what is involved in the hunt for a home

2/22/2019
You may be pondering purchasing your own home in the near future.

There are a few factors involved in the process. It really isn't all that complicating, but there are things that a great agent can walk you through.

Lots of paper work and appointments with titling, and inspectors, and appraisers.

Lending is the first thing that we need to cover. We are always in close contact with some fantastic lending institutions. Just let me make the introduction between you and that great mortgager.

When you find that home you want, an agent can help you to make an offer that is the appropriate gesture that will entice that seller to accept. On the event that it isn't accepted, then it's time for your agent to start negotiating for you. These are the behind the scenes actions of an agent who really wants to help you to get you and your family into the right house for you.

When you give us the information that will help us narrow your search to those important needs in that home, like location, schools, # of bedrooms, # of Bathrooms, and of course how many square feet. Man is it important to be able to move around.  And of course you want to keep in mind what floor plan, like true ranch, raised ranch, split entry, try level, and even patio homes. Do you want a basement. Is a garage important? Do you need a 2 garage home? Lots of things to think about.

I invite you to search properties on my website, where you can narrow your search to the city and subdivision, price margin, and # of bedrooms and baths, and even lot size. Just click on the more button in the search options as you move across the search criteria from left to right almost to the end. and it gives you  more advanced search  options.

Contracts can be complicating, and confusing. I like to think that we can make that a little more simple for you to understand. Line by line, it's all designed to protect you whether you are selling or buying a home, and anyone else involved. It's a really big purchase, let's handle it appropriately.

After an offer is accepted we sign a contract. Then we schedule your inspections, and an appraisal. Get in touch with a title compony, who will make sure the seller is really the owner, doesn't ow any thing against the property, that hasn't been reported in the disclosure.
